Vladimir Reznik, LLB (Hons)
Vladimir first began providing legal services in 1992 as a paralegal at one of Toronto’s first Russian-speaking law firms, and then opened his own paralegal practice in 1994, dealing mostly with immigration, minor criminal and small claims matters. In 2002, Vladimir moved to work in insurance-related health management involving motor vehicle accident claims, life and disability insurer defence investigations. Even though in 2005 Vladimir left the legal field for a career in real estate, during his tenure as a real estate broker, he was constantly drawn to helping his clients and colleagues with legal situations related to small claims, commission disputes, landlord and tenant issues, regulatory complaints, discipline and professional standards, all of which eventually prompted him to return to the legal profession.
Today, in addition to being a paralegal, Vladimir also owns Times Realty Group, a fast growing real estate brokerage in Vaughan where Vladimir has been the broker of record since 2008.
A constant learner, Vladimir is a study of many interests including education, physics, performing arts, health sciences and law. In 1999, Vladimir was inducted into the Golden Key National Honour Society for outstanding academic achievements at the University of Toronto. Vladimir graduated with distinction from an accredited paralegal college, where Vladimir also presided as a judge in a small claims mock trial. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB-Hons) from the University of London.
The legal focus of Vladimir is on everything related to and around real estate. This focus includes disciplinary matters and regulatory offences related to breach of professional ethics; landlord and tenant matters; small claims litigation matters arising out of real estate transactions including breach of warranties, deposit and commission disputes; contractor disputes; representation at expropriation negotiations and Ontario Land Tribunal hearings, municipal bylaw offences; as well as other discipline and professional standards defence not only for realtors, but also for mortgage and insurance brokers, and other license appeal matters, and summary criminal offences.
With nearly thirty (30) years experience in client representation in real estate trades and legal proceedings, Vladimir is more than ready to help you. Fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish, Vladimir is also ready to help you in any of these languages.
